Questions & answers

BughawPack: frequently asked questions

If you are still planning your pilot or plastic-reduction rollout, start with the answers below, then register property interest on the For Hotels page.

BughawPack includes five core lines: (1) biodegradable razor for guest amenity kits, (2) coconut-husk slippers for guest footwear, (3) shampoo & soap bar holder for bar-program accessories, (4) back-of-house essentials for housekeeping consumables, and (5) biodegradable bin liner for in-room waste management. All use a plant-based coir composite (Philippine coconut husk fibre and plant-based binders).
BughawPack products are designed for standard hotel form factors and amenities kit workflows in the Philippines (DOT accreditation context, housekeeping turnover, procurement packaging). We publish product specs per line on request and can tailor documentation for ESG reporting and property audits.
Yes — BughawPack is pilot-ready in Metro Manila and accepting hotel expressions of interest. Pilots are scoped per line (razor, slippers, holder, BOH essentials, bin liner) with property-specific SKU counts, room-program placement notes, and a short collection window to review real usage feedback.
We recommend pairing the BughawPack razor, slippers, and bar holder with a bar-based amenity program (shampoo, conditioner, soap bars) to remove sachets, wrappers, and plastic trays from guest rooms. The holder line is specifically designed to keep bars dry and guest-ready without reintroducing plastic.
Bughaw uses Philippine coconut husk fibre as agricultural waste feedstock combined with plant-based binders. We are in active discussions with DENR-EMB Region 4A on waste-reduction classification and collaborate with Philippine university research partners on material performance and end-of-life pathways. Documentation is available on request for property-level ESG reporting.
Use the "Request pilot specs" link on any product card, or go to For Hotels to register your property and pilot timeline. We respond within three business days with specs, recommended SKUs, and placement notes aligned to housekeeping routines.
